Fixed Cost Designs

If you want to have a design without worrying about overages, my fixed cost design option is appropriate for you. This option is only applicable to hosting company website designs, so if you have any other type of website, please consider other options or contact me.

• Web Design: One homepage design, one packages subpage design, one empty or text subpage design. The cost is $750.
• Web Coding: Complimentary to my design services, the cost is $500. This only includes XHTML and CSS coding, and some javascript if needed. Extensive javascript is not available at this rate, but I'm flexible and try to accomodate you as hard as I can. I do not code designs created by other designers at this rate. If you want me to code a design that was not created by me, please contact me to get a quote.
• Logo Design: I can create a vector logo for $100, which you can use it in many printed documents. Still, ypson.com can do a better job.
• WHMCS Integration: Guys at whmcsintegration.ca seems to be doing a great job for just a couple of bucks, give them a try!
• Aftersale Support: I provide free support for my designs for a few months after the transaction is complete. I can change small things on request for free, provided that you don't try to abuse it. I don't try to charge for trivial things, don't worry.

Terms:

• Design Size: My fixed cost design pages are up to 1500 x 1500 pixels for the homepage. This is more than enough for 99% of websites.
• Time Spent: I will work hard to make the design fit to your needs. I try to never let any customer pay for a design that he doesn't like. But I reserve the right to stop working on a design if my services are abused, or the client is the type that can't be satisfied whatever I do. But I remember sending a customer revision28.jpg, so I'm quite patient. A complete website work of web design and coding of a home page and a subpage, by my hourly rate, takes about 16 hours. This is just about the time required for a high quality home page and subpage design and coding. If you need several subpages or different types of design needs, consider hiring me for a fixed rate per hour. But if it takes more than 16 hours for the home page and subpage design only, I won't ask for overage fees, since Fixed Cost Designs agreement covers the overages as well, up to a fair amount of time without abuse.
• Partial Payment: I start designing the page, and send you revisions until you are satisfied. After all design work is done, I request the payment for Web Design. If a logo was provided at this step, I request payment for it too. After transaction is complete, I start coding everything, and once the coding is also complete, the work is almost ready to deliver, and I request the payment for Web Coding.
• Upfront Payment (Prepayment): I used to not charge upfront, and only get paid after the work is done, unfortunately there have been more than one instances that the client decided to abandon the project after hours or days of my work. So now I have to charge 35% before working. This upfront payment will be deducted from the first payment you make me, so it's not an additional payment, it's just a part of the first payment you make.

This price is not guaranteed in all cases. Prices will increase if you need the following:

• Applying content, after delivery of the design. I don't apply your content to the design included in this price, if it's not provided before designing/coding. If you want me to apply your content to the design, please ask for a quote. Normally, my designs are easy to edit, so you can apply your content easily without anyone's help.
• Custom javascript coding other than simple rotating banners and simple dropdown menus.
• Full Internet Explorer 6 support. Normally my designs support IE6 to a degree, where people can still browse your website and use it. However it may not look exactly like the modern browsers. I can make your website fully compatible with IE6 on request, but due to the time it takes to develop for IE6, I charge 50% more.
• Subpages with a different overall design than the homepage.
• Custom made icons for your website or WHMCS (or any other integrated software).

You'll need to contact me with the details for a custom quote, if any of the above conditions are met.

Design Work: I work efficiently, I allow you to check me via email or instant messenger, and on request I provide detailed logs of what I did in how much time. I work faster than many people out there, because I know Photoshop inside out, using keyboard shortcuts and efficient ways of doing things.

XHTML and CSS Coding Work: I work efficiently, and provide logs similar to my design work. I have several templates that I can use certain parts, like meta tags and css definitions, which decrease the time spent on a coding job.

PHP Coding Work: I work efficiently, and provide logs similar to my design work. I have an extensive library that I created before, so I can use many prewritten codes of mine to increase speed and decrease delivery time.

Terms:

• Upfront Payment for Hourly Work: My minimum upfront payment fee is for 2 hours. After 2 hours, I continue working, and request payment every $300 worth of work. If you offer a higher upfront payment, I may decrease my hourly rate.
• Refund: Prepayment, by definition, is the payment to start a work, so after a few hours of work, it becomes non-refundable. So if you hire me with prepayment, and decide to cancel the work after some hours of work, I will be hesitant to refund. This is not because I try to get all money I can, but because I will have postponed some other jobs for yours, and early cancellation interferes with my regular line of work.
  
  However I will refund your upfront payment if I haven't started the work. If I claim that I started the work, I will provide proof.
